What this site is, and is not

It is editorial commentary and compiled specifications about consumer kitchen appliances, published for general information. It is not professional advice of any kind, and it is not a substitute for the manufacturer’s own instructions for a product you own.

We do not test the products we write about. Rankings and scores here are judgments compiled from published manufacturer documents, not measurements taken by us. The method is set out in full on the methodology page, and you should read a recommendation here in that light.

Safety

Blenders involve fast-moving blades, mains electricity and — when the contents are hot — pressure and steam. Any technique described on this site is general guidance. The instruction manual for your specific machine takes precedence over anything written here, every time, without exception. Where a manufacturer prohibits something, that prohibition governs, whatever a general article says about what is usually fine.

You are responsible for operating your own appliance safely and in accordance with its manual. Type 5 Marketing LLC accepts no liability for injury, burns, damage to an appliance, or any other loss arising from following information on this site.

Prices, availability and specifications

Prices shown are pulled from a retailer’s API and are stamped with the date they were last checked. They change constantly, and the price shown at the retailer’s checkout is the only one that is binding. Where our data is out of date, we remove the number rather than display it — but a figure that was accurate when checked may still have moved by the time you read it.

Specifications are taken from manufacturer documents and linked to their source. Manufacturers revise products, change suppliers and update warranty terms without notice. If you find a discrepancy, please tell us — we correct verified errors within seven days and date the correction, per our editorial policy.

This site earns commissions on purchases made through its buy links, including as an Amazon Associate. This does not change the price you pay. The full disclosure is here. Your purchase itself is a contract between you and the retailer; we are not a party to it and cannot help with orders, returns, refunds, repairs or warranty claims.

We link to manufacturer documents, retailers and other outside sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the page it points to.

Intellectual property

The text, rankings, comparison tables, scoring rubric and design of this site are the property of Type 5 Marketing LLC. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back to the page it came from. Reproducing whole pages, or systematically copying the comparison data, is not permitted without written permission.

Product photographs are supplied by the retailer’s product API and remain the property of their respective owners. Editorial photography is licensed stock, credited in our records. Brand names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used here for identification only; no affiliation or endorsement is implied by any of them.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other readers, or submit anything through the contact form that is unlawful or abusive. We reserve the right to block access where that happens.

We do not warrant that the content is complete, current or error-free, though we work at it and publish our correction policy.
