What you give up is power and capacity, and you give up a lot of both. At 3.7 A, a jar packed with frozen fruit and little liquid will stall it. Forty ounces is one or two servings, not four. This is the right machine for a banana, yogurt, juice and a handful of berries, and the wrong one for anything more ambitious.
